German doctor who strengthened host-nation medical partnership with LRMC retires
Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, the largest overseas U.S. hospital and the only one with the distinction of being a Level II Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons is also certified by the German Trauma Network as a regional Level II Trauma Center. It is the only U.S. medical facility that is dual-certified in the U.S. and a host nation.

Flu shots available at Wilford Hall

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas –
The Influenza vaccination can keep you from getting sick with flu!
Starting Thurs. Oct. 17, all TRICARE beneficiaries can receive the influenza vaccine at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC). Active-Duty military members can walk-in during the dates and times listed below. All other beneficiaries can make an appointment at a time that best fits their schedules!

Offered by “walk-in,” visit WHASC Atrium (1

Floor) between C & D Wings
Dates: Oct. 17 through Nov. 8
Hours: M/T/Th/F 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. & Wednesdays 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. (due to Wing Training Hours)
All Other Beneficiaries (By Appointment Only)
Appointment Location: Allergy & Immunizations (WHASC, 3rd Floor, D-Wing)
