Visitor Guidelines
Beneficiaries should limit the number of guests brought into our facility in order to protect Family members, other patients, and our staff.
Children with appointments should be accompanied by only one parent without siblings whenever possible and adult patients should not bring in any visitors. Exceptions can be authorized at the discretion of the OIC/NCOIC utilizing an empathetic approach, that balances patient and staff safety with an understanding that some patients may require non-medical attendants, and some parents may have limited childcare options apart from bringing their child(ren) to their appointment with them.
Both parents are permitted to attend pre-natal ultrasound appointments in Women’s Health, and Pediatric appointments up to the child’s 12 month well baby visit. Other visitors, including children, should not accompany the parents at these visits. If both parents are unable to attend, the parent attending the visit may use their mobile phone to voice or video call the absent parent for the purpose of allowing the absent parent to be virtually present at the visit. No clinical staff’s face or ID badge, nor any other patients, may be viewed on video, captured by picture, or recorded without their permission.
