Description of Services

Provides outpatient immunization services for enrolled active-duty families (all ages), retires, and retiree family members. The Family Immunizations Clinic provides routine vaccinations for children and adults. Active duty service members are seen for immunizations with SRP at BLDG 679 YY. Active duty service members may receive Allergy treatments at our clinic after enrollment and coordination with TAMC Allergy Immunology Clinic.

Walk-in flu vaccinations for all TRICARE beneficiaries begins Monday Oct. 1, 2025
COVID-19 vaccines will be available soon, please call the clinic for updates.

Preparing for your visit:

1. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis only.
2. Flu shot season (October – December) can be extremely busy, please plan accordingly
3. All patients aged 10 and older are required to show an ID at the time of check in
4. Please bring all past immunizations records to your visit

Q. Who is authorized care in the DDHC Immunizations clinic?
A. All patients enrolled to DDHC Family Medicine and DDHC Pediatrics Clinic as well as service members
Q. Do I need an appointment for vaccinations?
A. No, all vaccinations are done on a walk-in basis only.
Q. How do patients enrolled in the PCMH clinic obtain vaccination?
A. For patients with an appointment with a provider in the clinic, vaccination will typically be provided in the exam room along with the appointment
B. For patients without a clinic appointment, you may walk-in to the DDHC Immunizations Clinic to receive vaccinations that are due.
Q: How do I schedule a mass vaccination event for my unit?
A. For such events as a flu drive, anthrax, JEV, or typhoid rodeo, please call 808-433-8800 for more information.
Q: Can I receive vaccines when pregnant?

Q: I have allergies and want to know how to start on allergy shots?
A: Please speak with your PCM to get a referral to Tripler's Allergy/Immunology clinic so proper testing with an allergist can be done. Upon the allergists decision to start you on allergy shots we can house the vials at DDHC and administer them to you here once you have initiated your allergy treatments at Tripler. DDHC administers allergy injections to established patients by appointment only. DDHC does not have an allergist on site. At this time, we only offer allergy injections to service members but we are working towards offering this service to beneficiaries as well.
