Family Advocacy Program (FAP)

Description of Services

FAP provides services to all Active Duty Army in Hawaii and their family members. FAP is a DOD mandated program whose mission is to assess, support, and treat all incidents of child abuse/neglect and intimate partner violence. Services include comprehensive psychosocial assessments, case management, individual therapy, marital therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.

Walk-in Services

All behavior health offer walk-in services from 0730-1600 M-F (except Thursdays 1200-1500 when closed for training). After clinics close at 1630 M-F., patients having urgent behavioral health needs must go to the Tripler Army Medical Center Emergency Department.    Phone number to Emergency Department 808-433-3710/5700.

Preparing for your visit

Make sure you know where you are located ahead of time to avoid being late to your appointment. We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before every appointment to answer questionnaires that are used for every single visit. It is also good to think about your goal for seeking care and discuss this goal with your provider in your first visit.
