Urgent Care
Urgent care services treat non-life-threatening health issues that require immediate attention, such as sprains, the flu, colds, and other common illnesses.
Emergency Care
If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical situation (including mental health emergencies), call 911 immediately or visit Desmond Doss Health Clinic if it's your nearest hospital. Emergency care services treat life-threatening medical issues such as threats to your life, limbs, sight, or safety.
Desmond T. Doss Health Clinic - Urgent Care Center
The Urgent Care Center at Desmond T. Doss Health Clinic provides same day urgent care for all beneficiaries, including all active and reserve services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force), their families, and Allied service members. The clinic has the capability to provide minor procedures such as toenail removals, minor laceration repair, suture removals, and abscess management. The Urgent Care Center has laboratory, pharmacy, and limited radiology capabilities (x-ray only).
Services are limited to urgent symptoms and urgent health needs. Conditions threatening life, limbs or eyesight must be evaluated and managed at Tripler Army Medical Center Emergency Department or the closest Emergency Department. .

The Tripler Emergency Department is the emergency referral center for the entire Pacific Regional Medical Command. We are a Level II Trauma Center, capable of administering care for major and minor medical emergencies and are equipped with our own ambulance service and helipad for medical evacuations.
