Multi-Disciplinary Behavioral Health (MULTI-D)

Description of Services

Multi-D Behavioral Health Clinic is equipped with a multi-disciplinary team of providers to include psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, and substance use counselor to offer comprehensive behavioral healthcare for active duty soldiers and activated guard members.

Walk-in Services

All behavior health offer walk-in services from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 M-F (except Thursdays Noon - 3:00 p.m. when closed for training). After clinics close at 4:30 p.m. M-F., patients having urgent behavioral health needs must go to the Tripler Army Medical Center Emergency Department. Preparing for your visit

Make sure you know where you are located ahead of time to avoid being late to your appointment. We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before every appointment to answer questionnaires that are used for every single visit. It is also good to think about your goal for seeking care and discuss this goal with your provider in your first visit.

Q. Will my command know that I came to BH?
A. Generally, no, unless there are safety concerns/jeopardy to mission that required the provider to contact them. Command communication will be discussed in your first appointment.
Q. How long is the appointment?
A. Appointments can range anywhere from 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the type of appointment.
Q. How often can I see a provider?
A. The frequency of the appointment depends on the diagnosis, severity of symptoms and the treatment that you and your provider agreed to implement.
Q. Will my appointment be confidential?
A. All appointments are confidential except for instances where the providers are obligated by law to disclose certain information such as imminent danger to yourself or others. This is something that you can discuss with your provider in your first visit.
Q. How do I schedule an appointment?
A. You can call the clinic during business hours, get a referral from another medical provider or walk in to the clinic during business hours.
